It's a rare occurance that Rush Limbaugh says something that isn't just cheerleading for conservative idealology. But even hot air balloons come down out of the clouds sometimes.
His recent proposal on what to do with the stimulus package makes a lot of sense. Split it up so that it is 50% funding for projects and 50% stimulus in the form of tax cuts. That seems to make a lot of sense to me and it would certainly help Obama in the eyes of a lot of more conservative voters.
The only problem I have is whether it would actually work or whether Limbaugh threw this proposal out there, knowing it would fail, in the hopes that Obama's team would bite since he seems to hope Obama will fail.
You can't really trust that man to give you straight up advice but I think some attention should still be given to his idea.
